Before founding L’arta Advisory, Lara Ustunberk graduated with an Honour’s Degree in Hotel Management and Tourism from New York University, and earned her Master’s with Merit in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London. She has merged her two passions, hospitality and art, to develop a knowledge of business management, development, marketing and art history.
Throughout her career, Lara has worked for numerous prestigious art organisations including Paget PR, JD Malat Gallery, and the world-renowned Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy.
Lara is also devoted to humanitarian causes. She has volunteered for Studio Voltaire in London, a non-profit art gallery devoted to giving emerging artists an alternate avenue to have their works seen by the public. She has also volunteered for the Tanzanian Children’s Fund, where she held the position of consultant in the organization’s Microfinance Program.
